Programs

After School Program

In Romania, one in eight children from rural areas go to bed hungry and one in four drop out of school due to poverty.

In response to these needs, this program has been started to help 6 to 14 year old children from disadvantaged families to have a better chance to succeed in life. The program offers a hot meal, assistance with homework, and activities to develop life skills such as hygiene, working in a group, timekeeping, and respecting authority.

Sports Ministry

Another Way to Educate!

We aim to reach out to young people through various sports, including football, basketball, and unihockey. Sports provide a great platform to teach vulnerable youth social skills and teamwork. We plan to organize low-threshold sports activities at the Community Center’s sports field, building relationships with these young people. Additionally, we see sports as an opportunity to share God’s love through our actions and words.

Teens Program

The aim of our program is to invest in the younger generation and change the future for the better. We believe that by helping today’s teenagers reach their full potential, we can create a brighter future for everyone.

Ukraine Relief

Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the Perspective Daneș Association has provided crucial support to those affected. We have organized pick-ups from the Romania-Ukraine border and provided transportation, offered counseling sessions, and hosted many Ukrainians, creating a strong community network for those who choose to stay in Daneș for the long term.

Widows Support Group

The rapid and dramatic growth of the aging population in Romania has become a pressing concern. Many older adults in the country live alone, often due to emigration of family members or loss of a spouse. This can result in feelings of loneliness and isolation, which have a significant impact on their wellbeing, both physically and mentally.
