The website is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify automatically processes technical data such as your IP address and request details in server logs in order to deliver the site securely.
We use PostHog to understand how visitors use the website so that we can improve it. Analytics requests are proxied through our own domain. When you first visit, we ask for your consent:
Before you make a choice, no analytics are collected. We also use a small functional cookie to remember your language and your cookie choice; these are necessary for the site to work and are not used for tracking.

When you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are submitted through Netlify Forms and emailed to us so that we can reply. The form is protected against spam by Google reCAPTCHA, provided through Netlify, which may set cookies and process data (including your IP address) under Google’s privacy policy.
If you sign up for our newsletter, your name and email address are processed by Mailchimp (Intuit) to send you our updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. Our news page also embeds an archive of past newsletters from Mailchimp; loading it shares your IP address with Mailchimp.
Online donations are processed by Stripe. When you donate you are redirected to Stripe, where your name, email address, payment details and — for recurring donations — billing address are handled directly by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. You may also donate by bank transfer, in which case your bank handles the transaction.
Some pages load content from third parties. When they do, those providers may receive your IP address and set their own cookies:
